Fertilizing the Ocean to Absorb CO2

Phytoplankton are vital to the removal of carbon dioxide from the Earth's atmosphere. Some scientists are considering "fertilizing" the ocean with iron to increase the phytoplankton population, which could absorb more of our emissions.
