Artificial Sweeteners Indicate Wastewater Contamination

Artificial sugars, like those found in diet sodas, pass through the body and wind up in wastewater, which is difficult to track after it has been treated. Scientists have recently found that some synthetic sugars can serve as a reliable tracker of wastewater after its release into the environment. Watch this videocast to learn more.
